TEDGAR-PUR™ is a revolutionary cleaner designed to remove cured, dry polyurethane foam from all kinds of surfaces: PVC, wood, stone, tiles, concrete, epoxide, steel, upholstery, clothing, polyurethane applicator gun properly, work clothes, hands, etc.

Polyurethane foam is an extremely versatile material that has many uses. While it is easy to remove unwanted PU foam that is still wet, it can be somewhat difficult to remove when it dries up because it becomes hard and unmanageable. However with TEDGAR-PUR you can dissolve the cured foam and make it easier to remove from the area.

What does it do?

It is brilliant at fast and complete removal of cured PU foam deposits and build-up from mixing heads, gear pumps, troughs, conveyor parts, side walls, rollers, molds, foam cutting devices, holding tanks, feed lines and mixing equipment. A chemical formula is based on the modern ICP® technology (Intelligent Chemical Properties).

What materials will it clean?

Tedgar™-PUR will clean CURED PU|PUR| MDI, TDI, Rigid and flexible foam, PU Elastomers, Polyurea and PU/Epoxy based adhesives (other PU based materials).

Please note that foam used in the insulations is usually a mixture of PU Foam and ISO (yellowish colour). To remove it you need Ted-ISO !!!

Cleaning Process:

-Scrape away as much dried foam as you can with a plastic scraper. Make sure you use the flat edge of the scraper, as sharp corners can scratch some surfaces. If you cannot use a scraper, you can use the flat edge of a butter knife or spoon.

-Spray Tedgar-Pur onto the cleaned surface. Wait approximately 1–2 minutes (!).
 Before using the preparation, test it in the invisible place.

-Wipe off dissolved foam using a hard bristle brush or a dry cloth (depending on  a surface). Repeat application as necessary until all foam is removed.

Application tips:  Before using the preparation, test it in the invisible place.  If the cleaned surface is sensitive  do not spray the cleaner but use a cotton swab soaked in the liquid. Saturate the surface with the liquid and wipe it off immediately. Repeat this process a few times, making sure that this sensitive surface does not soak the cleaner.

Please note!   It is easy to confuse  PU foam with Isocyanates residue ( usually brown or yellow substance, very difficult to get rid off).  Isocyanates are hardeners used in many products, including polyurethane foams.  To remove them use our product TED-ISO™.

Do not rub the product into the surface to be cleaned! 
Side effects: No side effects in the form of discolouration, mechanical and chemical damage of cleaned structure. Use special precautions when handling chemicals! Particularly if the ISO is on a varnished surface! You must be careful and gentle!
